Founder of Health Freedon Expo Passes Away

The Wendell W Whitman Companies wish to communicate that Wendell Whitman went to be with the Lord, having died of cirrhosis of the liver.
He was surrounded by his wife, Marilyn, and his daughters, Kimberly and Julie. The Whitman family is deeply touched by the outpouring of compassion and support. Your continued prayers will strengthen them in these days of transition.

Mr. WENDELL W. WHITMAN, age 65 years, of 1201 Fisher Ave., Warsaw, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 5:15 a.m. in Warsaw, Indiana.

He was born November 25, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Wallace Walter and Phyllis B. (Prugh) Whitman (both preceded in death).

Wendell was married on September 4, 1964 to Marilyn Ann (Hitz) Whitman.

He was the owner of Whitman Insurance Agency, Winona Lake, Indiana; and was also the owner of KC-online internet service provider.

He was a member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Warsaw, Indiana. Wendell graduated from Taylor University receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree, also graduating from Southern Baptist Seminary with a Masters of Divinity degree. He also graduated from The Clayton School of Natural Healing with an ND Degree. Wendell was the Youth for Christ Director in Anderson, Indiana; Pastored two churches in Southern Indiana; served on the Board of Kosciusko County Youth for Christ; President of the Exchange Club; Co-Founder of Certified Natural Health Professionals; founder and President of Trinity College of Natural Health; founder of Charter College of Health and Massage Therapy; he also published health related books; he was involved in the manufacturing of herbal and health products; founder of Health Freedom Expos around the country. Wendell also organized and founded several not-for-profit organizations. He was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana since 1975.

Wendell leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Marilyn Ann Whitman (Warsaw, Indiana); two daughters: Kimberly (husband Michael) Bushman (Naperville, Illinois); Julie (Husband Bill) Kline (Warsaw, Indiana); six grandchildren: Megan, Tyler, Katelyn, Cody, Riley & Jacob, also a sister: Betty Means (Carthage, Indiana).

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2008 from 3-:8:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.

A private graveside service will be held on Saturday morning at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, IN. The Memorial Funeral service will be Saturday May 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S. High Street, Warsaw, Indiana with Pastor Ron Horgan and Reverend Al Buhler officiating.

8 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, IN. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, corner of High and Market Streets, Warsaw, IN.
